Dream Gate Scholarship Foundation (“Dream Gate”, “we”, “us”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what we collect on study-scholarships.com, why we collect it, and the choices you have. By using the site or submitting an application, you agree to this policy and our Terms of Service.
2. Information we collect
Application details
When you apply we collect your program choice, specialization, full name, father’s name, CNIC or B-Form number, date of birth, marital status, gender, nationality, religion, email, phone (optional), postal address, and academic qualifications.
Account and sign-in
If you sign in with Google, we receive the name, email address, and profile identifier that Google shares with us so we can link your application to your account.
Payment
Application fees are paid through Payoneer. We receive payment status and a reference needed to match the payment to your application. We do not store full card or bank account numbers.
Support and chat
If you use the on-site chat or email us, we keep the messages you send so we can respond and improve support.
Technical data
Our hosting provider and analytics tools may collect IP address, browser type, device information, and pages visited. This helps us keep the site secure and working.
3. How we use your information
- To process, review, and administer scholarship applications
- To confirm the PKR 2,000 application fee and issue refunds when a scholarship is awarded
- To contact you about your application, interviews, results, or missing information
- To verify identity and prevent fraud or duplicate submissions
- To operate, secure, and improve the website
- To meet legal, accounting, or regulatory requirements
We do not sell your personal information.
4. Legal bases
Where data-protection law requires a legal basis, we rely on: performing the application contract you request; our legitimate interests in running a fair scholarship program and securing the site; your consent where you optionally provide information (such as a phone number); and legal obligations.
5. Sharing
We share information only as needed:
- Payoneer — to collect the application fee
- Google — if you choose Google sign-in
- Hosting and infrastructure providers — including Vercel and our database provider, to run the site
- Reviewers and partner institutions — only the details required to assess or place an award
- Authorities — if the law requires disclosure
6. Retention
We keep application records for as long as needed to review awards, handle refunds, resolve disputes, and meet record-keeping duties. Support messages are kept for a reasonable period. You may ask us to delete or correct your data, subject to those legal needs.
7. Security
We use HTTPS, access controls, and trusted processors to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Cookies
The site uses cookies or similar storage for sign-in sessions, essential site function, and remembering form progress where applicable. You can control cookies in your browser; disabling them may prevent you from signing in or completing an application.
9. International transfers
Our website and some service providers may process data outside Pakistan, including in the United Kingdom, European Union, or United States. We use providers that apply appropriate safeguards for that processing.
10. Your rights

Applicants must be at least 14 years old. If you believe we have collected information from a child below that age, contact us and we will delete it.
